Abstract
This paper aims to review the existing literature on various emotions incorporated into usability and design. As technology evolves rapidly today, users of technology products and interactive computing systems are no longer only pleased at the level of product efficiency and effectiveness. Users are also looking for emotional satisfaction from them. With the powerful features that technology can deliver, more and more technology products and interactive computing systems are developed towards satisfying users in an emotional way. This paper discusses the importance of emotion and the need for it. Different emotions incorporated into usability and design for technology products and interactive computing systems are reviewed.
