Abstract
This pilot study examines the implementation of an online approach beyond the on campus and on site instruction. Ninety-seven candidates from three 2003-2004 graduate cohorts participated in this pilot study. By exploring the impact of instructors' teaching, candidates' satisfaction, and the possibility of developing a dynamic training model to serve more candidates in distant areas, the authors found that this pilot study has brought the percentage of candidates using online technology for completing a 15-month M. Ed. program from 74% to 100%. The results of this study also indicated that 97% of candidates feel comfortable or very comfortable in using online technology, and over 86% of the participants in the study agree or strongly agree with adopting a hybrid program delivered through a dynamic online, on-site and on-campus model into in-service teachers training.
