Abstract
Internet is playing a vigorous role in today's education. Children start to play on the Internet when they are very young, and are becoming more technologically advanced today (Schwartau, 2001). Then, as an adult, an educator in early childhood education, what should he or she be aware of this advanced, increasingly developed Internet technology? Specifically, what are available online for the early childhood education? What should a teacher in Early Childhood Education know about Internet? How can Internet be implemented into the early childhood education for more effective curricular designing and instruction? The presenter will examine online resources, explore the common practice of using Internet technology, including the security and ethic issues, and discuss applicable implementation strategies.
