Abstract
The results of an empirical study on distance education in Zhejiang University showed that campus culture on the Internet is not rich and is lack of attraction to students; off-campus learning centers don’t give a full play to students’ enthusiasm in the construction of campus culture participation; the degrees of students’ participation and satisfaction on the construction of campus culture are low, although the degrees of expectation and willingness are showed high. This paper discusses the reason of why on the basis of characteristics and system of distance education in China and provides suggested resolution to the dilemma of campus culture development in Higher Distance Education.
