Abstract
This case study documents our effort in using Knowledge Building approach on 18 pre-service teachers learning to design constructivist activities with technology. The course was delivered using blended instructions, complementing face-to-face instruction with an online collaboration tool known as Knowledge Forum. Preliminary analysis of results shows that in general, the participants displayed favorable dispositions towards constructivist learning before and after taking the module. There was active participation in Knowledge Forum, culminating in over 700 notes posted over within 8 weeks of the module. One group of three participants, especially, performed in-depth and meaningful online discussions, which might explain their excellent performance in their design of constructivist learning activities.
