Abstract
This presentation examines how multiplicity and flexibility were essential considerations in the design and implementation of an award-winning Web-based collaborative learning course. Design features supportive of multiplicity and flexibility are examined, as are implementation and assessment processes employed in meeting these goals. Future online collaborative learning course design and research implications are discussed.
